Marin Independent Journal Bolinas' Lorenzo Ferringhetti captured the men's short course race, finishing in 41 minutes, 44 seconds during the third annual Shore-to-Shore Paddle race spanning Bolinas and Stinson Beach on Saturday.

Paddle surfing is all the rage in Hawaii. Visitors can take the opportunity to try it during ideal calm summer conditions. Stand up surfing, also known as supping, has become extremely popular among both locals and visitors.
