Men’s team South Walton Lifeguards Black and Women’s team On the Coast Magazine awarded champion title in the summer race seriesSanta Rosa Beach, Fla. (August 19, 2009) – The 2009 YOLO Board Stand-Up Paddle Series culminated on Thursday, August 13, 2009, with the final race taking place on beautiful Western Lake at the WaterColor BoatHouse. We always knew our friend Dave Boehne had a screw or two loose; but Stand Up Paddling down the LA river and getting piped at Echo Park? Late Again! Yeah, I'm late again this week. I hope you'll understand. I was out surfing earlier today and found out I have another surf pal. As I was walking to my spot someone called my name and it was a colleague that I had no idea even hit the water! I'm one of those that believes the more friends that you have in the water, the merrier!
